Naturally Superior Adventures’ canoe program specializes in the Lake Superior watershed. In the spring, our guided canoe trip down the Agawa River trip brings whitewater paddling to the masses by adding a strong instructional component to a spectacular trip through the famous Agawa Canyon. With our Custom Unplugged river trips, you set the dates, pick your river and choose your outfitting options, and we’ll do our best to make your Lake Superior river trip a reality.
Tighten your sash, grip your paddle and get ready for a journey into the past with our guided voyageur canoe trips. We are the first company since the fur trade petered out in the 1820s to run voyageur canoe trips on Lake Superior. Our 36-foot-long Montreal canoe is a fiberglass replica of the Northwest Company fur trade boats that plied the waters of the Great Lakes from Montreal to Thunder Bay. Each of our scheduled trips has a special theme and quite often a special guest. And if you have your own group of voyageurs, you can schedule a custom trip with our 36-foot canoe.
We also offer a series of custom whitewater canoe trips. Set the dates, choose the river, and name what you’ll need from us for your own custom whitewater canoe trip on Lake Superior’s north shore. Superior Whitewater, Unplugged. We specialize in the Lake Superior watershed and our services include everything from vehicle shuttles, rental boats and maps to guiding and all-inclusive trips. Options include the Agawa, Batchawana, Sand, Dog, Pukaskwa and White rivers.
Voyageur Canoe Trips: Sign up for one of our special conservation or musical theme trips or recruit a crew and schedule your own custom trip in our 36-foot voyageur canoe.
Whitewater Canoe Trips: Learn to whitewater canoe on a wilderness trip down the Agawa Canyon or help design a custom whitewater canoeing adventure.

Come on in, the water's fine!
Each month, we'll let you know what's happening here on Lake Superior. Nothing fancy, just a little note to keep Superior's spirit in your heart.
The northern shore is stunning and still so remote. Its incredible that its only a days drive from southern Ontario.
