Lake Superior Park Hike
Join us as we take 5 days to hike 50kms of the Coastal Trail in Lake Superior Provincial Park. You will feel transported as you hike through the beautiful forest, along secluded beaches, and hop rock to rock all with Lake Superior just over your shoulder.
We’ll take some time on Sunday afternoon shuttling vehicles to the trail end and meet at Agawa Campground at 5pm for orientation and group meal and overnight camp. The next morning following breakfast, we pack-up and spend the next 5 days walking north to Gargantua Harbour.
Hiking distances average around 10km a day and rest stops are taken as required. You will be responsible for carrying a portion of the group gear as well as tent, sleeping bag and your personal gear. A full packing list will be sent to you upon registration.
Your guides are certified in wilderness first aid and leadership. They know and love this part of Lake Superior and enthusiastically share their knowledge with you. Your safety is their primary concern. They are also wonderful wilderness chefs. On trip meals are healthy and delicious. They even do the dishes.
